Flo-Tech Recognized at ITEX National Conference 2012
April 18, 2012 – Flo-Tech, headquartered in Connecticut with offices in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC area, was recognized with the Perfect Image Award for Outstanding Sales Program by imageSource Magazine and the ITEX Advisory Board. This independent Board made up of industry consultants and other industry peers selected Flo-Tech for this recognition from thousands of office equipment dealers, managed print services providers and other printing and imaging resellers from across the country.
The award was presented from the imageSource Live Theater at the ITEX National Expo & Conference held in Las Vegas, NV on April 18, 2012. The award was presented to Leo Bonetti, Flo-Tech CEO and Steve Therrien, COO at a formal recognition ceremony. This is the second consecutive year that Flo-Tech has been recognized with a Perfect Image Award, last year taking home the Perfect Image Dealer of the Year Award.
This year’s Perfect Image Award for Outstanding Sales Program recognized Flo-Tech for consistent sales growth in terms of revenues and client base and a unique approach to more closely align sales reps goals and objectives with our clients’. Flo-Tech has always been focused on doing what’s best for our customers and two key factors, that are somewhat unique in the industry, allow Flo-Tech to do things differently than some of the other MPS providers out there:
1) The ability to take over the service and support of a client’s existing fleet of printers, copiers and mfps, without having to put in any new hardware. Client engagements typically start with optimizing their current environment to achieve cost efficiencies and improve the overall performance of their fleet. Once that has been completed, the need for new hardware is assessed based on business and application needs or to achieve additional cost and operational efficiencies.
2) An “un-quota” system – Sales reps are no longer driven by quotas but by striving to meet clearly defined goals and objectives that benefit them, Flo-Tech, but most importantly our customers. This approach allows our salesforce to deliver the right solutions for the client not the solution that gets them to quota. They can focus on the best solution to meet the client’s objectives – cost savings, reducing resource requirements, reducing the number of devices they have to manage and/or other objectives defined as part of an upfront assessment process.
