Flo-Tech honored for participation in
employment program for people with disabilities

Middletown, CT, October 2006 – Flo-Tech honored by the Arc of Meriden – Wallingford Inc as the “Employer of the Year”.

Flo-Tech was honored by the Arc of Meriden –Wallingford Inc, on Thursday October 26, 2006 as the “Employer of the Year”. Flo-Tech has been working with the Arc of Meriden –Wallingford for the past two years as part of a program Flo-Tech has implemented to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The program has been a great success at Flo-Tech with the number of participating employees more than tripling in the past year - and all of these employees have quickly become part of the Flo-Tech family. Flo-Tech was honored at the Arc’s annual membership dinner and was presented with an award by Pauline Bouffard, Arc Director of Employment Services. The Arc of Meriden-Wallingford provides advocacy, residential, recreational, community and employment services to adults with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities.
