Community Commitment

Flo-Tech’s commitment to sustainability extends to a policy of social and community involvement. As a responsible corporate citizen, Flo-Tech aims to make a lasting impact on the community through contributions, in-kind support, and volunteer resources. The success and well-being of our community has a direct effect on our company and we strive to enrich the lives of our fellow citizens beyond the reach of our services.

Listed below are just some of the ways we give back to our community:

Employment Program for People with Disabilities Flo-Tech has partnered with a local non-profit organization to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This program has been so successful, Flo-Tech was honored by the organization as their “Employer of the Year”.

Charity Fund Raising Events Flo-Tech conducts several charity events each year including an annual Thanksgiving food drive and annual holiday raffle. Proceeds from the raffle have benefitted many organizations including the Make A Wish Foundation, the Shriner’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, The Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Responding to People In Need Flo-Tech and its employees have made monetary and supply donations to support people in need including the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, victims of the earthquake in Haiti through the American Red Cross and our troops overseas. Flo-Tech and its employees also volunteer their time to support local non-profits, soup kitchens and food banks.

Protecting our Environment Flo-Tech has implemented many initiatives to raise awareness and support for the environment including annual campaigns to support Earth Hour and Environmental Education Week, an annual client recognition campaign for Earth Day and planting trees in honor of our clients through the American Forest Association.
